About the Musicians

Absolutely Legless pride themselves on having a dedicated band to choreograph individual and traditional music to the dance pieces.

Some of Edinburgh’s most widely acclaimed traditional Irish musicians work with the group to seamlessly weave the evocative melodies and driving rhythms of Irish dance music to the rhythmic stepping of the feet. The unique line-up of fiddles, flutes and guitar play new arrangements of traditional and original airs, jigs and reels, and you can be sure that there will be the chance to sing along to some of Ireland’s most traditional and well known songs.
